MAXI CABALLERO, A MUSICIAN.

He is a guitarist, composer and teacher. Born in Bullas (Murcia) in 1992, he started playing the guitar at the age of 15, when he began his studies at the Modern Music school in his town with teachers such as Francisco Javier Molina and Pedro Vázquez.
In 2012, he began his studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Navarra, where he is a student of teachers such as Luis Giménez or Iñaki Askunze. Here he participates in a multitude of projects, playing from the most classic jazz to the most contemporary.
In 2015, he moves to the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona with teachers such as Dani Pérez, David Soler, Jon Robles, Victor de Diego, Giulia Valle and Roger Mas. It is there that he graduated, performing in May 2016 with his own project, Maxi Caballero 4tet, at the Auditori del Liceu in Barcelona, and receiving the grade of honors.
In 2018, after being awarded a full scholarship from the Fulbright Foundation, he begins a new artistic and vital stage by moving to New York City and pursuing a master's degree at the prestigious Queens College.
In addition to his work as a professional guitarist and composer, Maxi is currently a professor of Musical Theory and Harmony at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche.
He has written a book called Armonía Moderna.
